Surrey Police Authority - Local Scrutiny for Surrey Police
Surrey Police Authority is a group of 17 Surrey people responsible for ensuring that Surrey Police provides an efficient and effective policing service for the residents of Surrey. We do this by monitoring the performance of Surrey Police in all of its priority areas throughout the year, and holding the Chief Constable to account accordingly.
This section contains the detailed performance updates provided to the Police Authority at quarterly intervals each year. It also contains the annual reports (known as Local Policing Summaries) that we produce and send out to every Surrey household to let people know how the force has performed over the last 12 months. You can access these reports by following the links on the left of this page.
National Scrutiny of Surrey Police
As well as being inspected on a local level by Surrey Police Authority, Surrey Police is also subject to regular inspections by Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC).
