Your Say

We want to know what you think about policing in Surrey. You can tell us your views in a number of ways - please click on the images below for more information:

The Citizens' Panel

If you are over 18, live in Surrey and would like to tell us what you think about policing in the county, our Citizens' Panel gives you the opportunity to do so. Our panel has around 3000 members who receive regular surveys by post on various policing topics, to help us understand what the public want from the service, and how policing affects their lives. If you would like to see the results of our surveys, or find out how to join the panel, please click on the image on your left.

Focus Groups

Sometimes, it's hard to really understand what people think from surveys alone. For this reason, we run regular focus group sessions to debate difficult topics in more depth with Surrey people. If you would like to find out more about previous focus groups, and how you can participate in future ones, please click on the image.

Consulting Young People

We want to know what Surrey's young people think about crime and policing. If you are under 18 years of age and would like to find out more about how you can tell us your feelings on the police in Surrey, please click on the picture.

Public Meetings

The 17 Members of Surrey Police Authority, along with the Chief Constable, meet in public seven times a year. We welcome local people to join us at these meetings, where you can put your questions to the Authority and the Chief Constable in person. Please click on the picture to find out when our meetings are taking place, and how you can participate.

2009 Consultation Results

Last year, we conducted a wide-ranging postal survey of the Surrey public and our key partner organisations to determine people's priorities for Surrey Police, their confidence and satisfaction with the services provided and their views on what they pay in Council tax. To learn more about what people told us, and what has been done with the results, please click on the picture.
