About Surrey Police Authority

Surrey Police Authority is an independent body made up of local people. Its job is to make sure that Surrey is policed in an effective and efficient way that meets the needs of the community. It does so by consulting with the public, setting the budget and strategic direction for Surrey Police and holding the Chief Constable to account for the force's performance.
